TRIBES IN TELUGU LAND: SOCIAL HISTORY, CULTURAL LIFE AND CHANGING STATUS A SOCIO HISTORICAL STUDY OF BANJARAS IN MULUGU DISTRICT OF TELANGANA STATE

Abstract

The name tribe is derived from the Latin name for tribe, which is the third. The first word refers to one of the three territorial groups gathered in Rome. It is known to the tribes and tribes of the Indians. India is the second largest tribe in the world after Africa. According to the 2001 census, about 698 registered tribes make up 8.5% of the Indian population. Some nations have their own characteristics that are different from other nations. These are simple people with individual morals, traditions and practices. Maybe you lived your life alone or you can call it an abandoned table. In India, the indigenous people have lived in forests and mountains for 1000 years and have no connection to various cultural centers. Society now loves nations and needs to integrate as members of a legitimate people.

EDUCATIONAL CONDITION OF MUSLIMS IN TELANGANA

Abstract

Despite their significant presence, Muslims in India have never enjoyed the fruits of democracy in proportion to their share of population (in terms of their democratic representation, share in government employment and inclusion in decision-making processes) like other religious groups. The Sachar Committee report (GoI, Government of India, High-Level Committee on Social, Economic and Educational Status of the Muslim Community in India, (Sachar Committee), Cabinet Committee, Government of India, New Delhi, 2006) highlighted the plight of the Muslim community in India. Widespread illiteracy, low income, irregular employment, high incidence of poverty, so on and so forth, reflect the poor socio-economic and educational condition of Indian Muslims. The Indian Muslims’ ability to feel physically and emotionally safe and their equal progress with another mainstream society is a test for the country’s democracy.

THE SEPARATE TELANGANA STATE MOVEMENT IN INDIA

Abstract

The movement for a separate state of Telangana began in 1968 and culminated with the results of two elections in 2004 and 2009. In 2005 national political parties supported the Telengana case and by the end of 2009 almost all political parties in the state and the Union government accepted the proposal. Later, after the turmoil, a committee was appointed to re-examine the matter and its report was released. This led to further controversy. The history of the Telangana movement can be viewed as a failed endeavor to integrate regions with different histories, different levels of economic development, elites with different skills, and conflicting goals. Even after 54 years, the common language has not managed to unite the two regions.

ROLE OF ITDAS IN ERADICATION OF POVERTY AMONG TRIBAL PEOPLE OF TELANGANA STATE

Abstract

Over the years, programmes and policies have been evolved to bring about change and development in the tribal region of Telangana State. A considerable amount of planning and resources have been invested to improve the quality of life, the nature and distribution of some such schemes have already been discussed in other chapters. Tribal communities of Telangana State have been exposed to various changes and development in their surroundings. To some extent they have benefited from them and have responded to the changes by adopting settled cultivation in place of shifting cultivation, to horticulture and animal husbandry in place of hunting and gathering, to education in place of illiteracy and ignorance, to modem Medicare system in place of superstition and appeasement of spirits, to greater interaction in place of physical and cultural isolation.

Abstract

History is a continuous dialogue between past and present . Historical research always enrich History. The present study \" B.N.Shastry – A Biographical Study \" is part and parcel of history. Binnuri Narsimha Shastry ( B.N.Shastry) is famous historian, scholar , epigraphist, author, freedom fighter and founder of literary, cultural and historical monthly journal Moosi. In recent years Biographical studies on regional leaders, scholars has received special attention in different universities. In the case of Telangana region, Biographical Studies were carried out in history on Political Personalities like. Burugula Rama Krishna Rao & Madapati Hanumantha Rao. But so far no attempt is made on the contribution of B.N.Shastry in the last one century. The Primary objective of the present research is to highlight and estimate the significance of B.N.Shastry historical works and epigraphs.

“A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF DEMOGRAPHIC PROFILE OF EMPLOYEES IN SELECT PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTOR ORGANIZATIONS”

Abstract

Business organizations in the present days need a positive climate for employee performance and organization growth. A good culture would enhance a culture of socialization, an atmosphere of employee participation, commitment and employee-centred organization which would positively increase employee performance and contribute to productivity of the organization. Keeping in view, the present day’s competitive markets for various industries, organizations need to consider the importance of various demographics which has a bearing on effectiveness. Organizations need to understand which demographics best meets the organization developmental needs. The present study examined the effect of demographics of employees in public and private sector organizations in India. The study is based on the data collected by survey method by providing the employees with a questionnaire. The reliability of the questionnaire was tested by Cronbach’s Alpha. This study is a comparison of the demographic variables in select public and private organizations. The results show that, there were significant differences in the demographic profiles of the employees in the public and private sector organizations. Understanding the demographics would increase the employability, policy-making and Human Resources practices of the organizations, which intern lead to the profitability of the organizations. A restricted sample i.e Bank employees and restricted area i.e select places are the limitations of this study. The specific findings and their implications are discussed in the study.
