Abstract

These days, the managerial functions face many and multi challenges, where the most important challenge the technological changes that came by the various components of information technology, especially the internet, extranet, increasing in computer use, and development of administrative thought. Accordingly, e-management is the latest in the management school, based on the use of the Internet and business networks in the completion of the managerial functions (planning, organizing, directing, and controlling) electronically. This paper is interested in throwing the light on the concept of E -management and its mechanism application, where it deals with the concept of management science in terms of importance and theories of management science. The aim of this paper is to present the concept of E-management and evaluate its challenge then traces its implementation. This study aimed to investigate the impact of the application and use of electronic management within an organization on its organizational performance.

AN ANALYSIS OF MICHELLE OBAMA’S BECOMING THROUGH THE DOUBLE LENSES OF MODERN FEMINISM AND FOUCAULT’S SELF-SURVEILLANCE

Abstract

The present thesis has studied Michelle Obama\'s autobiographic novel Becoming (2018). It is a new book narrating Michelle Obama’s journey as a first African-American woman who became a First Lady in the White House. Michelle Obama is a girl from Southside of Chicago, fought to get a position. Michelle Obama is the wife of Barak Obama, president of the United States from 2008 to 2016 but she is a strong woman who struggled to be. Becoming consists of three parts ,Becoming Me, Becoming Us, and Becoming More, each part narrates a specific period in Michelle Obama’s life. The present study has applied two theories on the novel. These the one are modern feminism by Martha Rampton (2008), which deals with the third and fourth waves, and Foucault’s self-surveillance and panopticon. This thesis is also included a survey on racial discrimination in America from 1950 and how she suffered at school and college because of her color’s skin. Modern feminism is applied on ten chapters of Becoming from part one and part two until Barak Obama won the election. The analysis of self-surveillance is about two chapters, how did Michelle manage her life as the first lady? Michelle Obama established her organization of Public Allies, and she supported her husband’s campaign team. Michelle Obama helped oppression groups and asked for people’s rights toward a better education and a healthy life. Michelle Obama planned her daily life and charged herself with perfect teams, stylish and prepared speeches. Michelle Obama proved that she is supportive women and has a courage to improve and managed her life.

ROLE OF INFORMATION SYSTEM IN INDIA

Abstract

In this paper I review the Information Systems (IS) research on how developing countries have attempted to benefit from information and communication technologies (ICTs). First I identify three discourses on IS implementation and associated organizational and social change that coexist in information systems in developing countries (ISDC) research, namely as a process of technology and knowledge transfer and adaptation to local social conditions; as a process of socially embedded action; and as a process of transformative techno-organizational intervention associated with global politics and economics. I then point out the distinctive research agenda that has been formed in ISDC studies, both in the more familiar IS themes – failure, outsourcing, and strategic value of ICT – and also in studies of themes relevant specifically to the context of developing countries, such as the development of community ICT and information resources. Finally, I call the reader\'s attention to the potentially significant theoretical contributions of ISDC research for understanding IS innovation in relation to social context and in relation to socio-economic development theories and policies.

Abstract

Physical fitness is the capacity to bring out practically various forms of physical activities without being unduly tired and includes qualities important to the individual\'s health and well-being. In many cases, the cause of fatigue is the lack of regular physical exercise. Regular participation in vigorous exercise increases physical fitness. A high level of physical fitness is desirable for a full, productive life amongst such exercises sports play their important role into it. Physical fitness parameters play a considerable role in performing the fitness of college students. Various factors affect the exercise habits of college students. Some of these factors include sleep habits, diet, social life, homework, and other extracurricular activities. Although college students are aware of some of these influencing agents, they do not always take the necessary steps to change their habits. Exercise habits that an individual adheres to while in college would often determine their exercise habits for the rest of their lives.. A recommendation is to promote time management skills that are intentional about leaving adequate time for exercise. Teaching students how to balance personal life, school, and work will leave more time for them to exercise, and therefore, increase their health overall. Based on the health belief model, both positive and negative self-perceptions are motivating factors that causes people to take necessary steps to stay healthy. The purpose of this paper was to determine the various factors that affect the exercise habits of college students.
