THE IMPACT OF ELECTRONIC AUDITING ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF BANKS\' PERFORMANCE AN EXPLORATORY STUDY OF A SAMPLE OF COMMERCIAL BANKS IN THE PROVINCE OF BASRA

Abstract

The research aims to shed light on the impact of electronic auditing on the effectiveness of the performance of banks as it is one of the important topics on the Iraqi environment in general at the present time, and where the researchers used the questionnaire as a main tool for data collection by selecting a random sample of internal auditors and workers in commercial banks in the province of Basra with a size of (110) responding the sample and their perceptions of the study variables and its sub-dimensions and testing the study hypotheses using descriptive and inferential statistics methods, as well as the use of personal interviews and field observations as tools to help in data collection, the researchers relied on statistical programs (16.SPSS V.25; Excel V) processing and analyzing the data through the use of the most appropriate statistical methods, and the study reached several results: the most important of which are the existence of a significant relationship between the independent variable (electronic audit) and the dependent variable (effectiveness of banks’ performance) and its dimensions (shareholders’ satisfaction, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction , profit growth , diversification of services) through the role that electronic auditing plays in detecting errors. Auditing also contributes The electronic audit facilitates the work of the auditor in terms of speed in performance, the effectiveness of banks and the lack of effort in order to achieve the objectives of those banks. Electronic audit also helps by not allowing unauthorized persons to enter, and then does not give the opportunity to manipulate information and audit results. Abstract

This research explores the role of altruism within the private sector and its influence on various dimensions of organizational commitment. Altruism, characterized by selfless concern for the well-being of others, is gaining recognition as a significant factor in shaping workplace dynamics and fostering a positive organizational culture. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews, to investigate the extent to which altruistic behaviours among employees contribute to organizational commitment. The research focuses on three key dimensions of organizational commitment: affective commitment, continuance commitment, and normative commitment. Affective commitment pertains to employees\' emotional attachment to the organization, continuance commitment involves perceived costs associated with leaving the organization, and normative commitment relates to a sense of obligation or duty to remain with the organization. The study aims to understand how altruistic actions impact these dimensions and, subsequently, the overall commitment of employees to their organizations. Findings from the study are expected to shed light on the ways in which a culture of altruism within the private sector can enhance employee commitment, job satisfaction, and overall organizational performance. The implications of these findings can guide human resource practices and organizational policies, offering insights into fostering a more supportive and engaged workforce. Abstract

Though they still hold significant social roles in India, women\'s entrepreneurial potential has not yet reached its full potential due to their inferior status. The main objective of this article is to determine the status of female entrepreneurs in India. The whole economic development of the nation and society depends on the social and economic advancement of rural women. Despite the growing number of rural women running their own enterprises, there is still much to be discovered about their potential as managers, entrepreneurs, and socioeconomic contributors. The growth of female entrepreneurs is a weapon for the empowerment of women. Through business, women can achieve self-fulfilment and become more conscious of their status, rights, and place in society. In the present day, women are becoming more powerful in both the economy and society by becoming business owners. Globalisation and economic liberalization have led to an increase in the number of female entrepreneurs in India. Rural women are more likely to experience domestic abuse than women in cities. Additionally, there is a notable gender gap in political participation. The study concludes that opinions towards gender equality play a significant impact in this respect, but the only conditions that can enable goal attainment are access to school and work.
