CHALLENGE TO TACKLE HR PRACTICES IN POST COVID ERA

Abstract

COVID-19 altered the truth of any human overnight. Lockdown shock and the fear of unknowing have been endured by people, cities, economies, nations, and continents. In a brief time, managers had to make several decisions: Decisions concerning on who is supposed to stay at work; and who is supposed to go home; How and when people should use digital space; and priorities and how best to communicate those objectives. The COVID-19 pandemic crisis arrived a few months later and showed that their fears were well-founded. During the COVID-19 pandemic, issues related to global supply chain vulnerabilities and financial resilience came to the fore, along with critical strategic concerns regarding human talent. The COVID-19 pandemic has pushed many employees, who were already facing stress from the health risk itself, to work from home. During the pandemic, life has changed many international business travellers and globally mobile employees in MNEs or MNCs; their current \"grounding\" may mean they experience a sense of loss. Stay-at-home restrictions and virtual meetings have replaced. Their frequent travel, hotel accommodation, and business dinners. The stress caused by virtual global work demands is natural. In less-than-ideal remote working environments, many workers face long working hours to satisfy time zones and performance problems. Many of these actual work issues take place in the sense of job instability and potential economic uncertainty. The altered working environments during the pandemic present new problems for the health and safety of workers.

Abstract

In the changing economic environment around the world, the banking and insurance industries have changed quickly. The banking and insurance industries together account for about 7% of our economy\'s GDP. Thanks to increased market competition as a result of liberalisation and privatisation, life insurers were forced to become more competitive by lowering costs and providing better service to customers. The IRDA introduced the idea of Bancassurance in order to tap into a large untapped market. Bancassurance is a modern and evolving medium of distribution that is being used by almost all life insurance companies to expand market share and penetration. The aim of this empirical study was to determine the role of bancassurance in the Indian life insurance industry, as well as to assess customer knowledge, satisfaction, and perceptions of buying life insurance products from banks.

Abstract

In today societies stress has become a major issue as it is concern to students. The educational institutes, schools or the colleges that want to be competitive in the today’s environment they have to handle the problem of stress successfully. This study is conducted to know about” STRESS OF STUDENTS IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS”. The study mainly focuses on how educational institutions manage stress in students.The main objective is to find the reasons for stress on students in educational institutes and how they manage their stress, How to decrease or remove stress in students. The main information is collected through interviewing the students and teachers through questionnaire and by using google forms send through social media such as Facebook, WhatsApp and other apps. The secondary information is collected through various sources like newspapers, google etc. With this survey we can know about the stress instudents and how they manage the stress or come out of the stress and what measures are been taken to reduce or remove stress in students in educational institutions. An attempt is also been made to study the various reasons for stress on students in an educational institutions and the result of the stress. The purpose of this research is to say the measures taken by educational institutes to reduce the stress in students.

THE IMPACT OF RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION CRITERIA ON ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of recruitment and selection criteria on performance using Fidelity Bank Plc, Lagos Nigeria as focal point. The analyses of 130 valid responses obtained through a questionnaire that was administered to randomly selected respondents revealed that recruitment and selection criteria have significant effect on organization’s performance(X2= 35.723; df = 3; p<0.05).The more objective the recruitment and selection criteria, the better the organization’s performance(X2= 20.007; df = 4; p<0.05).

4PS: A STRATEGY TO SECURE CUSTOMERS’ LOYALTY VIA CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

Abstract

This paper explores the role of Marketing mix strategy and its overall positive or negative impact on customer’s satisfaction and loyalty. Product, price, place and promotion variables need to be managed by understating psychological traits of customers buying nature. The literary discussion highlights that customer expectations with regards to product quality, price, and product accessibility are managed by communication techniques using advertising agents. The discussion proceeds in analytical style using previous theory as base point to evaluate the role of marketing mix in relation with customer satisfaction turning into loyalty. Inductive data collection approach has proved a great help to extract gist of past research results. A large proportion of data has been gathered from secondary resources including journals, books and old research papers. The results show that all four aspects of marketing mix are equally important and any imbalance among them can damage overall results. Customers’ buying intentions are greatly affected by his/her expectations in context of a product quality, price, and product accessibility. The relationship between customer satisfaction and loyalty depends on the elimination of perception gap, service gap, operational gap and behavioural gap that needs to be managed by giving focused attention to these matters. This paper reviews prior literature and proposes to think carefully to use marketing mix strategy to met customer expectations by eliminating any communication or perception gaps that further extend customer loyalty.

Abstract

Increasing global cooperation, forward integration and a focus on core activities have led to the notion that firms are links in a networked supply chain. This tactical viewpoint has formed the challenge of coordinating successfully the entire supply chain, from upstream to downstream performance. While supplies chains have exist ever since businesses have been planned to transport products and services to customers, the notion of their competitive advantage, and consequently supply chain management, is a relatively recent thinking in management. Although research interests in and the importance of Supply Chain Management are growing, scholarly materials remain scattered and disjointed, and no research has been directed towards a systematic identification of the core initiatives and constructs involved in supply chain Management. The main concern in any health system is delivering of medicine as a strategic product. In the present context of a health-conscious society, management of pharmaceutical supply chains has become more complex because it involves the life-saving interest of human being and requires the participation of different stakeholders such as pharmaceutical manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, customers, information service providers and regulatory agencies. Limited research is available in the area of pharmaceutical supply chains. Pharmaceutical companies, a most important player of the drug supply chain, are subject to many risks. These risks interrupt the quantity and quality of supply of medicine and their delivery to the accurate place and customers on time.Thus, the purpose of this study is to develop a research framework that improves understanding and stimulates and facilitates researchers to undertake both theoretical and empirical investigation on the critical constructs of Supply Chain Management, and the exploration of their impacts on supply chain performance.

CONSUMERS’ COMMITMENT FOR DIGITAL PAYMENTS: QUALITATIVE ANALYSIS USING WORD CLOUD WITH R SOFTWARE

Abstract

An initiative had been taken place to use data analytics for marketing research. Many research works have been using empirical tools for analyzing consumer behavior. In this study qualitative data collected through semi-structured interviews had been analyzed by using R software. Syuzhet and sentimentr packages have been used to analyze the qualitative data in this work. The results of the study show that consumers are having continuance intention towards digital payments but they are concerned about security of those transactions.
