A fixture\'s design is a very intuitive and sophisticated procedure that calls for expertise. At the setup planning stage, fixture design is crucial. For improving product quality in terms of accuracy, surface finish, and precision of the machined parts, proper fixture design is essential.In present design the fixture set up is done manually, thus the purpose of this project is to replace with fixture to reduce time for loading and unloading of component. Fixture gives the maker freedom in holding forces and allows for design optimization for machine and process performance.

LASER ENGRAVING PROCESS PARAMETER OPTIMIZATION FOR VARIOUS MATERIALS - A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW

Abstract

Laser engraving is a non-traditional machining technique used to mark or engrave practically any material that cannot be marked using traditional machining techniques. The surface of the material is heated during the laser engraving process, which causes the substance to evaporate. utilizing multiple input parameters, such as spot diameter, laser power, laser frequency, different wave lengths, etc., and obtaining varied output parameters, such as material removal rate, surface quality, and indentation, is achievable when utilizing a laser engraving machine. Based on the Grey relational analysis, all of these parameters were optimized for different performance characteristics. The optimal factor level condition will be ascertained using the Taguchi technique of orthogonal array. It may be determined which parameter has a greater impact on the reactions of the input parameter to the output parameter by examining the Grey relational grade.

A OVERVIEW OF THE METHODOLOGIES FOR THE FAST MEASUREMENT OF ONCOLOGY DRUGS USING LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY-TANDEM MASS SPECTROMETRY

Abstract

Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) has revolutionized pharmaceutical analysis over the past ten years thanks to significant advancements in its sensitivity and affordability. As a result, LC-MS/MS is now widely used in pharmaceutical research and manufacturing to identify pharmaceutical compounds, such as anticancer drugs. Small molecule cancer medications are now being quantified using LC-MS/MS in a variety of biological matrices to enhance preclinical and clinical pharmacokinetic investigations in the research and development of oncology treatments. The most advanced LC-MS/MS will be discussed in this mini-review article along with how it is used to quickly quantify small molecule anticancer medicines. Additionally, efforts have been made in this study to cover a number of crucial elements in the development of quick LC-MS/MS techniques, such as matrix effect assessment, chromatographic separation, and sample preparation.

THE EFFICIENCY OF DIFFERENTIATED EXERCISE ON THE KNOWLEDGE PRESENTATION IN MATHEMATICS

Abstract

This action research paper is a quantitative study specifically a quasi-experimental research design aimed to determine the effectiveness of differentiated instruction on the learning performance in mathematics among grade - four students of Poo Elementary School based on the preferred learning styles of the students. In the beginning of the study, the researcher adapted a learning style inventory to determine the students learning styles and the one that prevailed were treated with differentiated instruction. In this study, visual learners were the experimental group as the inventory and therefore implemented with DE. Aside from that, a researcher - made test questionnaire was used to determine the significant difference of students treated with DE and those who were part of the whole-class instruction. Before the intervention, a pretest was administered and its’ findings revealed that the pre-test scores of the experimental and control group were both marked as did not meet expectations. As it implies, there were no significant difference between the pretest scores of both groups before the intervention. Favorably, after the implementation of DE, the experimental group has an outstanding remark on their post-test scores while the control group has a little improvement with a satisfactory remark. With that being said, the pretest and post-test scores differs significantly which proves that DE produces beneficial effects to students’ learning specifically in mathematics. As manifested in this particular study, DE is a great instructional strategy to better meet the diverse needs of the students in the classrooms.

STRATEGY FOR IMPROVING CLOUD COMPUTING PERFORMANCE WITH ADAPTIVE DATA REPLICATION

Abstract

Cloud computing is becoming a very popular word in industry and is receiving a large amount of attention from the research community. Replica management is one of the most important issues in the cloud, which can offer fast data access time, high data availability and reliability. By keeping all replicas active, the replicas may enhance system task successful execution rate if the replicas and requests are reasonably distributed. However, appropriate replica placement in a large-scale, dynamically scalable and totally virtualized data centers is much more complicated. To provide cost-effective availability, minimize the response time of applications and make load balancing for cloud storage, a new replica placement is proposed. The replica placement is based on five important parameters: mean service time, failure probability, load variance, latency and storage usage. However, replication should be used wisely because the storage size of each site is limited. Thus, the site must keep only the important replicas. We also present a new replica replacement strategy based on the availability of the file, the last time the replica was requested, number of access, and size of replica. We evaluate our algorithm using the Cloud Sim simulator and find that it offers better performance in comparison with other algorithms in terms of mean response time, effective network usage, load balancing, replication frequency, and storage usage.

This diversity and accessibility introduce potential vulnerabilities that can be exploited by malicious actors. To mitigate these risks, encryption is a fundamental security measure that safeguards data both in transit and at rest.

IMPACT OF AGGREGATE CONTENT CONTAINS BASALT AND NORMAL STRENGTH CONCRETE

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the impact of mechanical properties of aggregates on ordinary and high performance concretes with these aggregates. Research included aggregate crushing resistance and mechanical properties of 24 concretes with: basalts, granites, granodiorite, dolomite, quartzite, and gravels from 13 Polish and Ukrainian mines. Properties of concretes are consistent with aggregate strength. The strongest impact of aggregate crushing resistance on concrete modulus of elasticity was found. A similar strong impact applies to tensile strength of concretes, while effect of crushing resistance on compressive strength of concretes was just moderate. The samples were exposed to water curing and 100g/L sulphate solution to determine the loss in weight of the concrete cubes and compressive strength was examined at the end of 7, 28 and 360 days of the specimens. Analysis of the microstructure and cracks that influence durability, were also performed to determine effects of sulphate attacks alkali-silica reactions on the specimens using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). A loss in weight of the concrete cubes and compressive strength was distinctly evident at the end of 56 and 90 days in both acids.
